Dietetic complementary feed, liquid, for horses and ponies for the compensation for chronic insufficiency of small-intestine function and for old horses.
Gastrocolin® consists of Jerusalem-artichoke syrup and a blend of herbal extracts. It has a stimulating effect on intestinal activity, preventing colics and digestive disorders. Gastrocolin® contains prebiotic fi bre (inulin). These carbohydrates are not broken down in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract and thus reach the large intestine (colon) unharmed. Here they serve as food for positive bacteria strains. These bacteria reproduce rapidly and displace undesired fungi and bacteria from the digestive system.
Old horses and ponies often poorly digest their feed and suffer from poor appetite. Gastrocolin® stimulates digestion and appetite.
Feeding recommendation:
Horses (600 kg):
1st week: 40 ml twice daily
2nd week: 20 - 40 ml twice daily
from 3rd week: 20 ml twice daily
Prevention and old horses:
20 ml once daily
Ponies / cobs (300 kg): half
Administration via feed or oral syringe.
