Magnesium is an important regulatory substance in the transmission of nerve to muscle. Deficiencies, as e.g. nervousness, muscular tremor or muscle cramps can occur especially in sport horses because of their higher magnesium demand due to performance and stress.
Calmitan® makes it easier for the horse to concentrate on the upcoming performance and makes him less susceptible to the stress of transportation and the events on the competition grounds.
When on the road or on pasture we recommend Calmitan® paste in an oral injector.
Feeding recommendation:
Horse (600 kg): In case of nervousness, irritability, muscular tremor, tension and lack of appetite and according to condition feed 20 - 30 ml daily (with concentrate feed).
Pony (300 kg): half.
Feeding duration: 2 - 4 weeks, but also suitable for regular feeding.
