Dietetic complementary feed for horses and ponies for the compensation of electrolyte loss in the cases of heavy sweating as well as for foals for the stabilisation of their water and electrolyte balance
Sweating leads to a loss of electrolytes. Sluggishness and exhaustion are normal physical reactions, when the lost substances (electrolytes) are not replaced immediately.
Actilyt® paste in the handy oral injector is the ideal electrolyte supply while you are on the move (e.g. to a horse show). For regular stable feeding we recommend Sodilyt®.
When suffering from diarrhoea foals lose a lot of water and electrolytes which have to be supplemented as soon as possible. Actilyt® paste in the handy oral injector is the ideal supplement.
Feeding recommendation:
Per horse (600 kg): Feed 1 injector after exertion and heavy
sweating*.
Per pony (300 kg): ½ injector
Recommended feeding period: 1 - 3 days.
Offer water ad lib.
* For regular stable feeding, e.g. days after exertion or during training phases we recommend Sodilyt® liquid for preservation of performance.
Per foal (50 - 300 kg):
At the risk of, during or after digestive disorders (diarrhoea) according to age and weight: feed ½ to 1 injector per day.
Recommended feeding duration: 1 - 7 days
