When the veterinarian Dr. Uwe Arndt and the business man Jürgen Montag founded the company Humavet they were already a successful team. Together they had build up Agrochemica for the last 6 years into a successful business, which special products made a sensible addition to veterinary drugs.
The team of Humavet had the special task to develop and manufacture new products for the equine high performance sector as well as for racing camels at the Arabian Gulf area. For the development Humavet used closed cooperation?s with leading veterinarian, breeder and rider in the UK and Germany. A prosperous concept which has left already its niche market with a wide product portfolio ranging from dietetic and feed additives for leisure horses, production animals and since 2007 as well for dogs, cats and other pets. The own brands and private label products are always developed, produced and marketed through the company itself.
For both companies stands the philosophy of ?Responsibility towards the human being, the animal and the environment?substantiated through a lived quality management system. Proudly cherished Humavet has successfully fulfilled the requirements to attain in November 2003 the standards GMP+B1(+B8 since 2006), HACCP, QS and ISO 9001:2000. End of November 2007 the European eco standard for feed additive manufacturing was added.
Therefore the founder Jürgen Montag is claiming: "The conscious decision for highest quality standards is an uncompromising decision for the well being and welfare of animals."
